Missed Prophetic Statement by Yahushua!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, blessed is he that cometh in the name of Yahweh (Matthew 23:37-39 RSB).
Mashiach ben Yosef/Messiah, son of Joseph, spoke to his people and defined their spiritual condition. Has there been any change in the spiritual atmosphere in Jerusalem since his earthly ministry? The latest estimate by Messianic Jews is that most of Israel are still rejecting the child born of a virgin in the town of Bethlehem. We also know that blindness is in part for the benefit of the gentile nations.
Another grave issue exists among the believing Jews who skirt the issue that Yahushua addressed.
Messiah proclaims, “For I say unto you, ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, blessed is he that cometh in the name of Yahweh.”
The point is that a substitution for our creator’s personal name is still active among assemblies around the globe.
Moshe/Moses records in the scrolls, “And Elohim said moreover unto Moses, Thus, shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, Yahweh Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations” (Exodus 3:15 RSB).
Not only is Yahweh’s name forever but is to be spoken in every generation! There is no prohibition concerning the name!
Lord, God, Adonai, Hashem, and many more titles are not his personal name. These adjectives are acceptable at times. We await a great awakening to bring light to the darkness and break the tradition that Jews have embraced about refraining from speaking His name. The biggest trick Satan has pulled on God’s chosen people is to neglect to speak their Creator’s name! Messiah requires the act of vocally calling out His name before His return as Mashiach ben David, the rightful heir to the throne of David.
As a called-out Jew, I say, “Baruch Atah Yahushua Yahweh (IOUE) Eloheinu, Melech ha-Olam, Come!”
*”Blessed are you, Yahushua Yahweh (IOUE), our Elohim, King of the Universe, Come!”
